If you have been losing hair quickly and bald patches have started emerging, consider microneedling therapy. This treatment is an effective solution to hair loss as it is to skin rejuvenation.

How Does Microneedling Act on Hair?

Hair growth is dependent on genes that trigger the development of new hair cells. This development occurs within the hair follicles covering the scalp and the rest of the body. Hair cell production is initiated by a number of chemicals, chief among which is the human growth factor (HGF) – a protein or steroid hormone – capable of stimulating cellular growth.
In the microneedling process, a microneedle pen – which looks like a pen with tiny needles in the end – the mechanical action of the pen allows the needles to puncture the scalp to cause minor surface wounds. The body then starts working to produce new skin, releasing chemicals and HGF in the process, which in turn stimulates hair regrowth thus covering up.

Our Microneedling for Hair growth protocols

At ML Aesthetic we follow the mesoestetic hair regrowth protocols

Mesoestetic's hair regrowth in clinic treatments are proven to combat multiple different factors responsible for androgenic alopecia in men and women. The formulation stimulates bulb and hair cell regeneration at the root by facilitating delivery of nutrients and increasing blood circulation to the follicle itself. This procedure is proven to repair the capillary fibres replenishing the blood circulatory capabilities of hair follicles, and therefore regenerating hair re-growth with a permanent effect.

Hair loss can occur due to the reduction of growth follicle cycles as a result of hormonal changes, stress, pregnancy or just the passage of time as well as external factors.

Hair Restoration Treatment

Our Hair Restoration Protocol is virtually painless and starts with Scalp micro needling, which involves the application of tiny needles all over the surface of the scalp, creating thousands of ‘micro injuries’. The theory is that this process stimulates the body’s wound-healing response, causing a surge of growth factors and stem cells in the affected area, thus stimulating hair growth.

Mesoestetic hair growth serum is applied topically straight after scalp micro needling to achieve the best results.
Mesoestetic c.prof 230 Hair Loss Solution works to prevent hair loss by stimulating the hair follicles and blood flow to this area with a combination of conditioning, revitalizing and stimulating active ingredients.Mesoestetic c.prof 230 Hair Loss Solution stimulates the hair follicle and increases the blood flow to this area to help strengthen the root, preventing hair loss and leaving hair stronger and more resistant. Copper Tripeptide-1 is a hair growth factor that promotes vascularisation around the hair follicle and enriches it.
The Vitamin-B complex (containing Dexpanthenol and Biotin), revitalises, conditions and moisturises the skin and hair.

FAQ'S

In men we know that hair loss follows a very specific, progressive pattern that is passed on through heredity and is triggered by hormone–specifically dihydrotestosterone or DHT. An estimated 60 million men are suffering with male pattern hair loss. As hair follicles miniaturize and weaken, coverage of the scalp diminishes leaving thinning or balding areas

Hair thinning in women is mainly due to heredity and can start any time after puberty. However, we also know that female pattern hair loss can be strongly influenced by age, nutrition, stress, surgery, medications, illness, social/lifestyle factors, hair care and more. As hair follicles weaken and stop producing hair, hair loss occurs.

Using the Mesoestetic Hair Restoration protocol we recommend starting with a series of 5 treatments, spaced 2 weeks apart for best results. A Follow up treatment may be required every 3, 6 or 12 months

We recommend 2 at home products to achieve the best results possible whilst undergoing your treatments.

Mesoestetic tricology intensive hair loss shampoo is an anti-hairloss shampoo, with a dermo-compatible pH and a non-irritating formula that softens while it cleanses. The scalp is revitalised, and blood supply is enhanced so that more nutrients may enter the scalp.

Mesoestetic tricology hair growth intensive lotion is an anti-hair loss treatment lotion. It fights against the multiple factors responsible for hair loss, and is ideal as a treatment during seasonal hair-loss periods. mesoestetic tricology hair growth intensive lotion comes with 15 ampules, and is to be used every second night. Apply a single dose on the hair at the roots, massaging the scalp gently using circular motions until the solution is completely absorbed. Apply at night on alternate days. Wash with tricology intensive hair loss shampoo the following morning.

We recommend not washing your hair or scalp for 24 hours post treatment. We recommend applying the home serum the night of your treatment. As mentioned previously, some brief mild inflammation may be noticeable as redness/pinkness and numbness of the scalp may be present for several hours so it will be important to keep the area clean and protected from sun exposure. No harsh chemical coloring or perming treatments should be performed for at least 72 hours.

Generally, with the exception of small round areas of alopecia areata, locations where severe depletion of follicles has occurred should not be treated. The vast majority of healthy individuals can easily undergo Micro-Needling treatments. Certain conditions like blood and platelet disorders, chronic liver disease, presence of an active severe infection, cardiovascular or hemodynamic instability and/or the presence of anti-coagulation therapy (e.g. warfarin) would make Micro-Needling contraindicated. In addition, anyone with actively infected or significantly inflamed skin in the area/s of treatment and/or presence of any chronic infectious blood borne disease, such as HIV / AIDS or hepatitis. If you have HIV, AIDS, chronic hepatitis or any other chronic infectious disease, please let us know prior scheduling Micro-Needling. Other or relative contraindications include any reason to be prone to significant bruising, infection or poor healing, and any contraindication to micro needling. Response and number of sessions may vary by patient. Smokers may require more treatment sessions than non-smokers as tobacco smoke toxins may diminish cellular responsiveness to Micro-Needling. Recent steroid treatments and smoking are relative contraindications and should be discussed with your therapist.
